When, after years of teasing and bad jokes, Scootaloo finally got her cutie mark while tending to Fluttershy's chickens, she instantly knew what she had to do. ...
Become the most awesome and badass chicken the world had ever seen.

She would eventually become the very first hero idol and greatest role model for future generations of chickens when she broke the world record for the longest recorded flight of a chicken by twelve seconds.

And so began a challenging - and confusing - time for Fluttershy.
When the great chicken exodus into Everfree Forest began, she was heartbroken, yet, at the same time filled with pride, confident that her beloved chickens would be able to fend for themselves admirably.
What she did neither know nor expect was that soon she would be able to fill that void by having to care for a new flock of animals... The frightened timber wolves that had been driven out of the forest by the bold and foolhardy "dash chickens".
